The Best List You Can Read With Your Clothes On.
Stay ahead of the crowd. I have created what I think is the best list to track what’s “buzzing” in the global country community: the Country Buzz Top 10.
Rankings are based on aggregated signals from more than ten highly respected country news sources plus YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, Spotify and Apple Music streaming charts, and social media engagement. If it’s hot, it’s here.
Well, Eric Church and Blake Shelton are back in the Top 10, which was expected from these two solid giants. And of course: Dolly turned 80! I doubt anyone missed that news!
Once again, Ella Langley stands out on this week’s list with her incredible journey to country music superstardom. Alongside other stars like Lainey, Megan, Miranda, and Kacey, Miss Langley demonstrates that contemporary female country artists are on a winning streak right now. Furthermore, they are leading the country music genre in a new direction where tradition is always kept safe and sound, but modern influences are close at hand. Cowgirls of the world, unite and take over!

The largest music industry trade organization, CMA (Country Music Association), is planning to further expand its focus on spreading the country gospel GLOBALLY. A new initiative will be launched in London around this year's C2C weekend festival (Europe's biggest annual country festival) in March. More to come.
Indie American favorite “the Tennessee songbird” Hanna Juanita (The Hardliner) did the most memorable musical celebration for Dolly’s 80th with her version of “Do I Ever Cross Your Mind.” Check it out!
…and I guess you didn’t miss “Divorce In A Small Town” from the fresh EP with Caroline Jones. Classic arena-ready country storytelling.

Best COUNTRY from LANDMAN

Modern TV drama genius Taylor Sheridan’s work with the YELLOWSTONE series (and its successful spin-offs) is modern media history. And with LANDMAN (on Paramount+) just ending its second season, it is clear to everyone that Mr. Sheridan has done it again. What a brilliant success story! I am most impressed by the dry, humorous writing that is closer to the standard elements of a great country song than any television series ever done before (including “Gunsmoke”). And the music! The music score is great, perfectly curated for a global country music audience. I have picked out my Top 10 Best songs from LANDMAN. It’s all in the link below. GIVE US SEASON 3 NOW!!!!
Best of Landman, listen here!
